A fan site dedicated to the worst product from the U of M

RicketyRickert was back in Green Bay for the weekend taking care of some business.  It began as a quiet and relaxing weekend.  Saturday night, I ventured out with friends to a new establishment in Green Bay, The Drink of Downtown.  Wow, and original name for this interesting place.  New bars in downtown Green Bay have not been lasting too long unless they serve a niche market, like Pi or Stir Ups.  The Drink is a normal boring Green Bay bar, except for its 3 “bird cages” for go-go dancers.  And not just any go-go dancers, but real authentic Green Bay go-go dancers.  I have no idea how this bar could possible stay in business longer than 6-months.  The one positive for this bar is the amazing laser light show displayed on the walls.  This bar is screwed.

Then the weather turned sour.  Sunday started off with freezing rain and sleet.  Then a foot of snow was thrown onto the city and surrounding area.  The whole city was shut down.  The airport.  The mall.  Funerals were canceled.  Hillary didn’t make it to her rally at St. Norbert, too bad.  A 15-minute drive became a 2-hour drive.  I was stuck.  I was bored.

I look forward to getting back to ’sota.
