Try it.
Rick Rickert Blows
My how time flies, it seems like only yesterday that __________ was hoisting Lord Stanley’s Cup over their head and celebrating their huge finals victory over _______________. Yeah I actually know that the Penguins beat the Caps, but who really cares. No one. So with that, here is my official 2010 NHL Season Preview
St. Louis Blues will win it all over Washington.
Minnesota Wild will finish last in the Northwest and have the 5th worst record overall.
That’s it.
I enjoy the chorus when the beat hits hard, wish the whole song would be like that.
Another post!?? Hell is freezing over. Anyway, the new rage is the auto-tuned music videos on YouTube. DJ Steve Porter is the pioneer in this field with his Slap Chop Remix and Press Hop Remix. He’s got a new video out that introduces us to the Slap Chop Drop, hot new move that should be coming to a town near you soon. There’s another video floating around with George Brett, the former Kansas City Royal, and it’s hilaroius. Peep it here:
It must be your lucky day, 2 posts in the same day! Alright, lets just say that I have Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album loaded onto my USB drive to listen to in the car. I’ve got all the tracks lined up in order. I tried to listen to the whole album, couldn’t do it. Couldn’t find a song I liked. Yeah, DOA is good, but its whack. You can’t dis autotune but then say that Kanye and Lil Wayne use it properly. Kanye used autotune for his whole album, and Wayne started using it way too much. We Run this Town is good, but the DJ Green Lantern version is so much better that I can’t listen to the original anymore. So, I gave up on the album…..until…….track 14 came on at random. So Ambitious. I liked it. It’s got Pharrell doing the hook. It’s got nice loud bass. After finding So Ambitious, I then found Reminder. Reminder another great song. I then found Young Forever. I was mixed on this track at first because it sounds like that one Graduation song “as we go on, we remember, blah blah blah, lasts forever, and now we hold on, to what we remember, always blahing blah, friends froever” Whatever the lyrics are, I don’t know, but I’m sure I was close. Alright, here are the YouTube videos for everything mentioned above, except DJ Green Lantern’s remix, I can’t find it on you tube, but it is my opening track on the End of Summer MixTape. I give the Blueprint 3 a C because I said so.
I dislike 50 Cent’s music. I honestly don’t think he’s come out with a good song since in a long long time. However, he was great on CNBC the other day talking about investing, piracy, his book, Robert Greene, and the real estate market. Take a look.
The video probably won’t stay on YouTube for long, let me know when it isn’t available.
So Kanye was on Leno last night for the “We Run This Town” performance by Jay Z, Rihanna, and himself. But before the performance, Kanye sat down with Jay to discuss his interrupting of Talyor Swift the night before. Kanye as a person blows and he can barely come up with a coherent apology. Props to Jay Leno though for asking how Kanye’s mom would react to this. Ballsy. I thought you weren’t supposed to talk about a black man’s mother, but talk about a black man’s dead mother!! Here’s my solution to the problem: The Kanye Awards. Kanye just gives out awards for whatever he wants, to whomever he wants. Problem solved. I hate Beyone’s “Single Ladies” song. Can’t stand it. I never heard Taylor Swifts song before, but it can’t be as annoying as Beyonce’s. Then again, why are people taking MTV Video Music Awards so seriously? Does MTV even play music videos anymore? Why do people still make elaborate and expensive music videos? Even Caspian Productions doesn’t make music videos anymore, Fresh Gnar.

Patrick Swayze passed away today at the age of 57.

Alright, so I uploaded my End of Summer mixtape a couple weeks ago. It can be downloaded here. When burning to a CD, be sure to burn the tracks in numerical order so that the album makes sense.
Also, I haven’t been able to post much lately due to a busy schedule. Sorry. Hopefully I can find some time this week to do some writing, but probably not.
